Problem with FTP in Windows Mobile 6

Peter, I'm using your FTP component mainly on Windows Mobile 5 devices where I have no problems. I have two WM 6 devices, an XDA Stellar where FTP works fine and an Xda Mantle (AKA HTC Sedna 100) where GetDateTimestamp is not working. At the moment I'm not able to see the exception message that is caused when I use GetDateTimestamp but I just wanted to check if there is a known problem with certain Windows Mobile 6 devices. An exception when calling GetDateTimestamp normally indicates to my software that the file being checked does not exist but in this case I know for certain that it does exist and has a proper date/time on it. The Xda Stellar has no problems with GetDateTimestamp on the same file

    Thanks,

    John.

There are no documented differences in WM6 which should affect this. Is the device configured in exactly the same way, can you read other files on the server? Do HTTP requests work okay?

Thank you for the quick reply Peter.

I'm away from where the device is at the moment but when I'm back there the first thing I'll try is a hard reset.

I just wanted to check if there was any known weirdness in WM6 or WM 6.1 but sounds like that is not the case.

Peter, I hard reset the Xda Mantle and FTP is working fine now.

Sorry to have wasted your time on it.
