Device name when trying to connect to a Bluetooth Device

    Hi,

I'm sending a data file to a bluetooth device using "Brechan.Obex.dll" and the XP2 version of "InTheHand.personal.dll". When I'm trying to connect to a device within my application it identifies the sender (my machine) with the machine name it has. Is it possible to set a different device name for the connection, without changing my own machine name?

      Thanks

    Kierke

See if http://32feet.net/forums/p/641/1945.aspx or http://32feet.net/forums/p/817/2464.aspx help...  If want a particular text to appear on the receiving device then you can change the name of the file you sending as it is generally reported by the receiving device.

Go to the properties of your Blueetooth driver and you can change it from there

Thank you so much. I only had to have a look at the Bluetooth Device Driver to see the option to change the name of the bluetooth device.
