Question on mulitple-connection in Microsoft stack (if does 32Feet support Mulit-connection at the same time?)

    Hi,

My project  is PPC-based with WM5. I have several bluetooth devices we need to connect at the same time. Currently the mobile host is based on WidComm stack. But We are going to migrant to Microsoft Stack. I read some articles and they say Microsoft stack doesnot support Multiple connections.

My question is How to implement Mulitple connections at the same time to connect more than one bluetooth device in Microsoft Stack. If does 32Feet support this?

     Thanks

What kind of connections will you be using? Do you want a listener on the device to which multiple devices can connect to? or connect out to multiple devices? which profile are you using? SerialPort or something specific?

    Thanks Peter.

    I need to connect out.

Currently I use Widcomm, and I need to connect 7 BT devices. Using SPP, we have only one SPP , but using RFComm, we can connect up to 7 devices. So we use RFComm.

Right now, we want to Micorsoft BT Stack, My question is that In Microsoft BT stack, (1) how many serial port we can use at the same time.  (2) If only one serial port, is it possible we can still use RFcomm to create virtual com to connect  more one device at the same time?

     Thanks again.

I have come crossed the problem when trying to open sockets using multiple threads. (Connect failed: System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted), What I am trying to achieve is to take my PC as a server and all discovered devices as slaves. All devices are notified as soon as the server broadcasts the message. Could anyone who have managed to do that please advise me of the solution?  Much appreciated!

Where does this error occur?  On the PC running the server code, and the problem occurs at listener.AcceptXxx() time?
