Determine when a Contact has been added or updated

    Hi,

Sms has an interceptor... do Contacts and other objects have something similar? I would like to know when a Contact, Task or something like that has been added or updated. I am pretty sure you can hook on to these events (even when your application is closed) to receive notifications. I just have a feeling that I'm not searching for the right keywords :)

Could you send me in the right direction?

    Thanks,
    Eric

I don't see where the attachment is linked. Am I missing it or did it not get attached?

    Thanks!

You can find it in your installed path, such as "C:\Program Files\In The Hand Ltd\Mobile In The Hand 2.1 SP3 (Professional Edition)\Sample\"

Ahh okay, I found it. (Although, the solution does not load but I can read the code just fine.)

Does my mobile application need to be running in order to receive  events that something has happened? Is there any way for the application to be closed and on the event be opened?

    Thanks,
    Eric :)

Your application has to be running to get these events, though launching an app on item creation is an interesting feature idea for a future version.
